Dan,
Wow...tons of color and contrast...
In fact a bit too much.
Things to look at on the original.
The skin tones of the people are too yellow...It also effects the entire image so fixing that will help overall.
The Reds are really hot.
Look at the bright reds on the horses, you should not lose shape and detail in the saturation of the reds. Something we will be covering in detail later in the course.
Contrast overall, Dan if you lower the the contrast as shown in the L curve the shape in the horses necks gets better. It also takes some of the "harshness" out of the image...
You can apply my ACV file attached to your image and your posted image and you will see what I mean.
