I turned off the Spyder2pro profile and am using the monitor's generic one.I picked up the first black gradation in your scale. The movable hue clock reads grey with no cast, but the step from white(16) to white(grey15) seems large.I'll also stay with the 10,245settings.GregM

I would continue to use your spyder profile.  Be careful about using the standalone hue clock for color measurements.  It is based on screen numbers, and may not be an accurate reflection of what you are seeing.

Within curvemeister, the hue clock is based on Photoshop's internal numbers, and the monitor profile does not come in to play.

Gremurphoto,

a nice prgr to investigate color profiles is this:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/3/b/a/3bac80b2-24a9-4a92-b87d-977b540b2e9c/WinColorSetup.exe

You must first install microsofts Netframework 1.1

When you compare profiles, for instance what you see on hte screen and a printer, ( that is possible with this prgr) you can see that profiles for printers has not so much room for the colors in printing.
