Curvemeister 3.0.18 is available
Hi Mike & Greg,
I have a slightly different problem. I've been away for a few months and fired up CS5 with 3.0.18 (I think it was) and had an expired notice for the beta. So I went to Greg's link posted above and got the 3.2.0 version update and ran the installer. CM comes up fine in CS5 32-bit but still gives me the expired message in CS5 64-bit. The installer does not include CS5 as a recognized installed version of Photoshop so I directed it to the Plug-Ins folder for CS5 64-bit but I still get the expired message for 64-bit only.
SO....need a quick fix for CS5 64-bit and also suggest you add CS5 to the installer window for new users. Greg mentioned something about Adobe security blocking folder access?
Win7 Home Premium 64-bit OS.

The expired beta issue should be resolved with the latest build posted on the download site; others have reported it as well.
Make sure you have the latest VC run time installed. You will have to manually copy the 8BF file to the plug ins folder in CS5.
If that is not the issue please post back so Mike and I can help...

Thanks, Greg. I've messed things up very well, now, having uninstalled CM from CS5 completely (no menu listing). The VC runtime distribution files should be OK since I previously installed the 64-bit beta and had it working with no issues.
So, couple of questions: first, there are several "Plug-In" folders scattered all over in Win7 for Adobe. Can you give me the path for the proper folders for both CS5 32-bit and CS5 64-bit?
Also, what is the correct file date on the current version for 64-bit? Mine is 2-20-2010 I think (w/o looking).
And, last, is there a link to the update file for the current 64-bit version? All I see is the new-purchase downloads.

mdavis,
if you go through the beta thread. Mike has the link posted there. The latest version Mike has posted is 3.2.3 on July 2nd.
I do not have CS5 yet so I am unsure of the paths...but they should be something like
C:Program Files (x86)AdobeAdobe Photoshop CS4Plug-insFilters for the 32 bit
and
C:Program FilesAdobeAdobe Photoshop CS4 (64 Bit)Plug-insFilters for the 64...
Those are the paths on My win & 64 bit install...

Thanks, Greg, I'll try that. My paths are OK and the versions of curvemeister.8bf are all there and dated 2/22/2010. I'll try the beta thread and see if that's another version that will work in CS5 64-bit. I had the previous beta installed and working fine, but lost it when I installed the update to (apparently) the non-64 bit version. The .8bf file is there but the menu and CS5 64-bit doesn't see it.
