Here is my best attempt at fixing fruit vendor image color cast. Note, that I've only done it for color, not for contrast/saturation. It was easier for me to do that image in CMYK, because in LAB removing color cast also removes fruits color.

Now take that image back into lab and see if you can make the colors pop with the saturation slider.  Great job....
