I opened CM, floated the curves pane to its own window, then resized it right down. CM crashed and took PS with it. I didn't send the crash report at that point, rather reopened PS to try to reproduce. But it seems that the bad dialog size info is now stored somewhere, because as soon as I open CM, it and PS crash immediately.

I'm about to go looking for the location where these settings are stored so I can get CM to reopen! If anyone can tell me where that is, they'd save me a search!

It took a registry hack to get things working again. I suggest no one tries to reproduce this problem unless they know how to fiddle with the registry!

Mike, is there a registry clean up tool for CM?

Hi Derek,
I've attached a .reg file that is a copy of the window and other settings
from my system.  I believe it will the window sizes to something
reasonable.  Keep in mind that this reg file may become obsolete if new windows
are added.

You can also delete the following key from the registry using regedit
to reset your window and command bar related preferences:
HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareCurvemeister.comCurvemeister3
