"Tonal Range Visualisation using a Gradient Map" on YouTube

Interesting way to visualize the tonal range. This is similar to Ansel Adams' Zone-system and I think Dave Straker, the author of this video clip is moving in that direction. I know Blake Rudis developed an attachment for Photoshop where you can target specific zones, but unfortunately it only work on the latest versions of Photoshop and is not available for CS6 that I have.
Our own Greg Groess did a similar job in Curvemeister long ago. I just thought that if you can visualize the zones, it would be much easier to adjust them, especially for the ones like me who is never sure what and where, almost like a brother of the Hue-clock in CM. :D
