Very nice...

It almost looks like you added a fill flash...

The colors look more neutral...how close do you feel you came to the real colors?

I think the corrected version comes a lot closer to her actual color, which is called blue leopard. The grays in the first one were a bit too warm and didn't stand out like they should.

how about the collar?  it seems a bit off??  just asking cause it really is a nice image

You're right, the collar looks too blue by a just a bit. Not that it exists any more to compare it to the real one. With five dogs on a ranch, collars don't last long.

here is my swing at it...

Notice I set a neutral on the leash loop of the collar.
The slight adjustment to the B channel is to bring up the blues without making them too strong...
