The thresholdingprocess in LAB colour space (Lightness). I did lift the curve a tiny bit in the middle to lighten the image. Saturated to boost the yellow colour

Keep going with the saturation slider until you think it looks too saturated and then back off just a tiny bit...

This image can handle a good deal of saturation....
Try for Bold... yet complete, full details in the shadows and highlights....
