This is an underexposed image taken of surfers near Surfer's Paradise south of where I live.
I will post my results separately but you may get a headstart on this before I do.

Very nice shot Benny...

I kind of liked the heavy dark feel from the foreground so I left it darker....

Here is myquick swing at this and I am posting the curve for you if you want to see it...

To load the curve, save the acv file to your desktop
open your original image
open curvemeister
click on "Load"
Choose the .acv file from your desktop.

Here's a version.  I went for more sky and water contrast, and darkened the foreground.

I tried RGB threshold and sets and also LAB threshold and sets.
The LAB mode have the best particularly with better blues.
I've attached the LAB sets version only.
I'm sure it will benefit further from more CM manipulation.
Hope to learn more next week.

First Light Zone then the Shadow/Highlight function in PS CS2 and finally Unsharp Mask.
