I think I seemed to have gotten some color into his hat by pinning colors and just working with the ones I wanted and then re-

Give the center of the curve a bit of a tug to increase the brightness just a bit. He is certainly saturated enough maybe even a bit too much...let's see what happens when you adjust the brightness.
