My first attempt created a complete black background, and the moth's head area was chalky white.  After working with it for a while, the color and hue was back to where I thought it should be.

He looks good but a bit drab.....

Try this....Open in LAB now and run the saturation up a bit until he scares the other moths off the light-post.
