Hope to learn from this.  Right now I am clueless.  I have worked the images as outlined.

Moonpi,

Sorry if you are confused...We'll try to help you out of the fog....

Example 1  If you look at the screen shot 1 attached below you will see that I pulled the middle of the curve down a bit.  This brightens the overall picture a bit and increases the contrast in image.  The net effect is to open the image up a bit in the shadows and brighten it over all.

It's a simple but very effective change that you could always try out on an image...

Moonpi,

In example 2 you have to increase the saturation.
Try this one in LAB mode and use the saturation slider to increase the color in the image.

Moonpi for examples 3and 4... let's start over look at the following PDF files and give it another try.

http://www.curvemeister.com/downloads/Class/c1s1/Thresholding.pdf

or use the Highlight point and shadow point from here

http://www.curvemeister.com/downloads/Class/c1s1/Using_Highlight_and_Shadow_points_to_set_threshold_values_in_Curvemeister.pdf

Example 5 is very nice....Try to duplicate the screen shot and see what happens....Use the LAB color space...It's really nice to use for these types of images...

The saturation slider is outlined in red and the output from the change is noted in the dialog box also circled.

Let me know what you think....

Greg
