I made her a very light skin, as the few that I know about history is that in old times sun tan was not an option, may be it's too much
I find this a bit closed in the shadows
I've never seen the real one...

I like the overall look of the medium tones, particularly the hands and the background.  The very light areas do look a bit washed out - The very dark areas tend to show noise and grain if you open them up too much.

Don't you live in France?  Perhaps you should drop by and say hi to Mona, though I must say the actual painting is rather small, and very yellow looking.

I know France is a small country but mona (called "la joconde" in France) is 800 km far from me, it's newly restored now so maybe one day I'll take it a glance.
