Followed directions.  Used pin 1 and picked shadow and highlights.  Adjusted L curve a bit.  I now realize that I might not have taken care of the Red headdress.

But, I like the result!

overall he looks good...You might revisit the L curve if you want to...seems a bit contrasty on my monitor...

Could just be me before a good cuppa coffee...
