I set the end points in Lab. Set a neutral point in RGB in the dark fur. I exit CM2 and enter CM2 again and used an inverted S curve on L to increase the contrast in Highlight and Shadows of the fur. I exit CM2 and duplicated a layer. I rotate the a/b curves anti-clockwise steeply. I convert the file to RGB without flattening. I used blend if slider and moving the dark side of the blue slider to the right a little bit to remove the red in the eyes. I also splitted the slider to give a smooth transition.
