Used LAB space, adjusted thresholds for highlights and shadows, manually adjusted a and b channels to make the photo look like it was taken at sunset/sunrise with a low sun angle (maybe I overdid the yellow a bit), set a neutral point on the black region in the background.

The yellow is a bit over the top but...It is the greens that I would like you to try to bring out more in the image.  see if there is more green in there without being too over the top.

It also looks like the highlights might be to hot...

I made another pass -- started in LAB, made a second round of corrections adding green and reducing blue then sharpened.

Better?
