This was my second try at this one.  I used thresholds to set the shadow point, boosted contrast in the highlights, increased saturation slightly until the eyes started glowing.  I then corrected the color by moving the dark end of the green curve, but I wasn't altogether happy with the result, so I set a neutral point on the left fore leg which I felt provided a better result.

Overall he looks mighty fine....

See if you can kill off some of the color cast shown in the print screen...

I set a neutral point in the area you indicated.

well no now the overall image is yellow...it is a variation on the half dome image..you need to adjust the blue out of the speciific areas.  I'd go back to my previous neutral you were by far closer to the solution.

The real trap here is the green cast on the brown fur...the lesson is to watch for a green cast on people shots when they have darker hair.

Not having much success with this either.  I guess I'm having some difficulty getting the selective color adjustments on the a and b curves.  I don't seem to be able to effectively change the color just in the area that I want to without adversely affecting the rest of the image.

Followed the same procedure as in your PDF file here, too, to remove the blue form the fur on the lemur's left foreleg.
