My grandson is trying competitive swimming this year. This is a shot of the pool which I tried to take without flash. It's underexposed and there's a green tint from the flourescent lights. Setting neutral on the object at the top of the far wall seemed to do the trick. It worked much better after using the threshold feature to lighten it up a bit.

Very nice job..I'm not sure my solution is any better.  I choose the water splash as my neutral because my eye wanted it to be white.  I felt the background colors were less important...

That is just my modest opinion.
