The fourth example is much the same as example 3.
This time I used a little contrast and based on that Lab is the winner.
It could well be that I just happened to use more contrast when I did the lab adjustment.
Apart from the sharpening I suspect that the RGB mode was more or less the same.
I tried adding a bit of saturation to the HSB adjustment. My only comment is that it is a subtle or weak adjustment and it seemed like there wasn't enough adjustment available to make a dramatic change in the image.
