Zoggy,

I thought about the "Green" real hard on my pass at these images..I deceided that "Aspen Leaves" meant yellow to me...I held the green back a bit...Your version is very nice....

I love the pictures.
Can you make them bigger  and are below the 200 K. ?

Greg, I've never seen an Aspen leaf, so was just guessing!

Frits, these are the sizes we got given - max size is 500 pixels and I'm well below the 200K on medium compression.

You mean the picture has the maximum siz e of 500 pixels ?
You can upload your pictures so big you like in pixels.
But you must be under 200k.
Mostly i  upload on the maximum size of the picture and shrink it down to below 200k.
When it is diificult, i make it first 800 x 600 and then shrink it  down.

You misunderstand me - Joe only posted a picture 500 pixels wide!

Greg,he did put blue in the flowers and got rid of the magenta tinge to the branches and the leaves are certainly vibrant... Actually I was thinking along the same lines as you.GregM

I saw the blue flowers as more of a blue spruce...less blue more spruce....

I like his version too..the subjective part is the most fun...
I'll certainly grant you that my version is NOT the definitive....That would be up to Joe....

Image 455- Zogs version is pretty much like I remember and seems to be the only participant to get the sky blue. I myself have not been able to get it blue. No matter what I try it is too much toward cyan. Zog, how did you get the blue sky?

Image 495- Germuphoto's version was about the nearest to real life. The Aspen leaf with the sun behind them is a brilliant gold. On the ground just lying about in the shade, partially expended, they are yellow but a bit brighter than my original. I guess if you never seen one you wouldn't know. Zogs "Man from Mars" version spiced things up. Attached is a image of pretty much what they look like with the sun on the front side.

I have to do some serious work so I will not be able to view the forum most days. So if you don't here from me for a bit don't be surprised. I'd like to thank everyone for the interesting class and forum.
Thanks Joe S

Frits if you are looking for the images in larger size here they are at 800 px.
