They just get harder and harder! and I love the picture, so that was the area I concentrated on
I tried using a Saturation mask before Lab saturation+Mars - very difficult not to overdo the colours.
I then tried a bit of local contrast before the Lab, which I think I prefer, even with the final de-saturation!
