It seems washed out...can you post the curve file so i can look it over??

Greg, i don't know. In my taste it is not washed out.
I tell you what i have done.
I did first lighten the image and make more contrast tot the midtones.
After that i magnified the image very big, so i can see the details are vanishing or not.
OH yeh forgotten . I put a neutral pin on the eyeball.
After that i did exactly Mike described.
I could easily do that. The .mht file of the lessons are on the second coupled monitor.
Also using the MASk K gives no problems, using the advice of Mike.
