What a cast!

I think this is an excellent example of the problems one can get when masking - and I fell straight into the trap - good lesson.

I did 2 versions, Lab+Binverted and RGB - not a whole heap of difference, but overall I prefer the RGB one, which still has a slight blue cast on it, but I think that helps the mood of the image.

Hey Zog,

Which version did you post??  My quick and dirty look at the image shows a slight reddish magenta cast especially in the stone. 
The overall tone is pleasing though and you certainly are right about the tricky aspects of the image.

I attempted to get the stonework as I remember it, pretty grimy and dirty
The cast is in the black of the window frame
