Interesting to see the difference playing with ctr+shift+I after changes.

Ctrl+shift+I  invert the mask

Ganna,

I'm thinking you need to increase the contrast in the mask a slight bit and then slide the whole thing over to the right a bit to the highlight side
It seems like there is a lot of noise in the image...that might be some of the adjustment getting through the mask.
