This is a lovely image and I particularly like the mist over the far hills.

I found the exercise very interesting, especially as there are standard PS actions to darken the sky, one using the Red channel and the other using the Blue channel - so for fun I tried them for comparison purposes.

Here therefore are 3 images, one of which is my CM attempt - anybody care to guess which is which and vote for the best one?

I think the last one "C" is CM. I do like "B" more, because it looks more natural.

I think B is CM...
