This is my shot at nu 2.
I would normally mask out the boat, but as I'm forced to run CM from the background layer, I do not see a simple solution to this and I await the video to see what I should have done.
I'm not bothering to post the curves as they do not include the mask data!

The boat will be changed, since it it about as bright as the sky. Using the b channel as a mask or H, might provide a solution, since that would darken the blue objects.
I thought the background layer issue affected wgCMYK hue clocks only. Is the problem affecting Lab mode too?
I am able to re-create the hue clock problem, BTW.
