I'm really having trouble with the K mask - can never get a dark one like you, even on maximum.

All the mask previews, whatever the GCR setting show the sky as white, not black as in your notes!

So I then had a look at the video which shows a white sky - I'm completely comfused, how did you manage that!

The sky needs to be white so the curves effect the sky.  Make sure you select the k mask and not the k channel.

Shot 1 is too much slope in the k curve almost vertical.

Shot 2 is backed off a bit.
