This is an Image from my scanner that looks pretty much as bad as the original.
No changes have been made to make it look this poor.

I know that this one might be a strech at this point in the class but i wanted to post it early so as we go on you can have a go at it as you learn more about CM and color spaces.

Enjoy!

(insert sadistic laughter)

Yea Gods Greg - do you really expect us to be able to get anything near decent out of that?

I spent an hour getting absolutely no where - but then I find colour and magenta in particular extremely difficult.

The next hour was great fun as I was beginning to get somewhere - I must dash out now, but this is my offering so far

One thing could could tell us, if you can remember, is what the colours of the sofa cover was.

Very well done! I give you points. Did you your layers and masks here?

No masks, just curve after curve after curve! - and finally lab ab channel blur to remove noise

I'll post them at the end of the week when others have been daft enough to have a bash - trouble is I cant refuse a challenge!

Chris..
That is far better than I have been able to do...Congratulations...

I'll have to research the sofa a bit and see if I can give you a better answer...

Yes, very nice, Chris.  I like it better than mine, which also used curves and some noise reduction at the end.
