Submissions are late because I had to repair two vomputers over the week end.  I thionk I am going to use makking a lot.  I use Lightroom for my major image processing, but I can see using masking a lot to darken skies in my landscape photography.

Sorry you had computer problems....hope all is well...

I'm glad masking is proving to be helpful, I found it to really open up my layer use and masking in PS. 

Don't be afraid to push the saturation a bit on these images, for the graffiti you need to pump up the color...same for the toy shop.  Push them around a bit and explore pushing detail into the darkest parts of the toyshop image...with color in there too....

The sky in the boat and lake picture looks good. 

The sky in the lake scene looks a bit flat maybe a bit more saturation...it is more dramatic and that is one of the goals...
Keep pushing it a bit and see if you find more in there.
