The sky looks very nice.  You even kept the tree line looking good.  Did you work on the foreground any??  just curious...

Nope, just curved the mask.
I tried the blue channel because I believe there is a better channel method using the blue channel compared to the convertional (?) Dan's red channel action - so thought I'd give the idea a whirl
