Here is my attempt to add some drama to the sky with a K channel mask.  aFTER APPLYING THE MASK, i ALSO ROTATED THE A AND B CHANNELS OF lAB TO INTENSIFY THE COLORS OVERALL.

The sky is much better and the overall color is nice...
