humph - didnt do too well at this one either - very hard to get a good mask with the hair whiskers underneath.

somehow I just havent got the sheen I would like in a black animal.  However the exercise was interesting and I must remember to do this should I ever need a mask - but normally masks are my last resort as I try to do adjustments without making selections.

Try changing the hardness of the mask in the settings.  If you have no blur the mask is pretty effective with the little tiny hairs....

Medium Blur is going to make this a fuzzy mask for sure.

No Greg - I've stopped cheating (for the moment) and followed the instructions - proper CM masking is yet to come!

Well, in that case the default for the mask "out of the box" is the no blur setting....

You are hereby resolved of any guilt...
