Dog - contrast pins

Well I've done this exercise, but I'm not overly happy with using the pins because

- it would seem just as easy to do it manually (apart from moving both up/down together)
- if I select Reset Color Curves - it also undoes the L channel as well
- doing it in rgb doesnt seem to be a good idea as the chances are one will upset the colours.

So I need another good reason for using this feature - sorry!

When you reset the color curve you can select " Reset This Curve "  It will leave the L curve alone then.

The idea for the contrast pin gets stronger when you get to the foliage image next week, but I will say that If you choose a part of the curve that has a decent amount of separtation to begin with the contrast pin is an easier solution as you get used to using it.
