Jean,
I'd like you to tell me what your goals were for this image.  it will help me understand what it was you were trying to achieve. and why you made some of the moves you made.

I went for the form (although I sacrificed a bit of shade) and the fur texture.
I did not want to make a prismacolor kind of a tiger.

I am joinjoing a real tiger.  Stay away.

Thanks...With that in mind you did a fine job....Another solid B+....

I was concerned about the shadow side of the L curve so your answer satisfied that.  I also see why you did not push the color more...I did see that you increased the saturation in Both A and B channels...Just not as far as I would have gone.

Fair warning though....In the coming weeks pushing the colors hard is one of the goals...get your sun glasses out and get ready to get saturated....

I used Jean's crop of the tiger image. With the overexposed patch gone I applied the  K channel in wgCMYK to bring out detail of the log.I know the K channel isn't a magic bullet, but it seems to add a certain kind of contrast or edge to some images.GregM

Better contrast indeed.
But he is too saturated and not enough starving to my taste (or his).

I dont think he would snap the camera.
