Jean,
try pulling the shadow end of the composite curve in to the zone 1 mark or there abouts and see if the overall contrast is more pleasing...If you find it not to your liking you correction is pretty well done as well.

yes it made the difference.

See a new one below with skin 1 pin applied to the women on top of the image.

Jean,
Try pinning the curve as shown with the red dots.

Then move the curve below the skin pin in the directions shown.  Let's see if you can have your cake and eat it too...
You should be able to hold the skin tones and keep the color cast from leaking into the image.

Much nicer.

Your file looks has an image coming from an outer space alien on my monitor. (bought used Hitachi cm721f).
I putted a shadow and highlight point to it to appreciate.

Here is mine, which must look coming from deep space too.

hmmm Jean, I fear that I am not getting the message through...that I may be confusing you more than helping.
The idea was to push the middle of the curve back to the center so that you remove the red cast that was introduced by the skin tone pin.

:o)

Maybe the blue arrows where not big enough.  Maybe I like an orangycathedral too much or women.  Women, could it be?

I get it.
