Two pass one in LAb One in HSB

The other in RGB . . . the blue cast was easily removed with the blue channel.  Then I pinned a neutral in the foreground water

Jean,
Try shopping around for a better neutral.  Your image looks red to me...

Hi,

I understand the neutral is to give more realism by imitating the mind habit to keep the color of the light neutral.  Is this a way for the to prefer black and white to color? Nope, because color contrast define the shape more acurately sometimes.
The rocks are red to convey the sunset. This phenomena  last  ten minutes at sunset. But . . . for the sake of the lessons I tried what you are asking for in the previous image.

See my previous one, in wich I went for a more standard goal. Has I dont know the real color of theese rocks, I casted them ochre . . .

True but the water takes a redish hue in the foam areas, which would not be seen, unless the sunlight was very red.  Usually not the case.

I am certainly open to individual interpretation of the colors but this seems too far for this particular image.
