Hi All,

Here are my RGB and Lab attempts at fixing the Merry-Go-Round image. I like the RGB one better--and it was far easier to accomplish than the Lab (which I never was satisfied with.

All comments welcome.

Jim,
Did you attempt to use the wizard on these??  If so you might want to turn it off and try the "Lizard Tail" to see if you can bring up the shadows.  It is actually easier to do in LAB since the color is separate from the brightness.

Read this article and see if you can apply it to the Image.

RGB should actually be harder to do this on...

By the way, why RGB should be harder for this one? How do you determine that? Is there a way to decide by looking at the image which colorspace to use, LAB or RGB?

This is the MRG with a lizard tail pass followed by floating neutrals.I got a little more detail to the upper level animals and behind the child's head but your tones for the child and the horse trappings are better.Deeper blue also.
