Here are my RGB and Lab Tigers. After I completed them I was dissatisfied with the brightness of the images so I reopened them and lifted the lightness curve in Lab. Is there any penalty for taking successive passes in curvemeister?

Not from Curvemeister.com...Kidding...
There can be if you go to far in some adjustment, but you would get the same penalty if you made the adjustment in the first pass.
If you mean "is there any degradation of the image quality like there is in successive .JPG saves" then no....
