My pagoda looks a bit garish. I also had a difficult time adjusting the mask to make the image look presentable.

Kessi,when you have the mask set up,try using the up-down arrows to control the effect.The left side of your masks appear to start at a value above 0 and this might have an effect.Do what you did to bring out the detail in the St Vitus image and apply it to the treebark.Another hint,there's alot of gold and red to the shrine.GregM

Kessi,

Don't forget to start with a good neutral to get the colors before you go into any extreme Man from Mars type correction.  Whe you did the dragon you picked a fairly neutral part of the dragon to set the pivot point.  Look to the natural things in the image to get closer to neutral.  The rocks are a good place to find something...use the hue clock if you need to.  The whole correction gets easier when you give yourself a good start.

When I first looked at the image I thought it would be a stroll in the park to fix it, but it was not to be.
Back to the drawingboard.
