So very sorry to hear about your Father...My prayers go out to you...

We will be here after the class is over...the board will be open to you for at least a year.  Post anytime here or in the general forum and we will be here...

For the Pagoda you might want to get some more light into the shadows...remember where we came from...SHN then color....

In the beginning i think you promised something about B&W work in the class? Did I miss something?

We talked during the conference call that there was some work flow that you can adopt for B&W conversion.  We are hoping to have something in the CM201 class that I am researching and writing.

Here is a second version of the pagoda. Opened shadows. Tried both K channel in CMYK of CM and shadow/highlight in PSE. Preferred PSE.
Hard jpeg compression affected my picture:(

It looks better but you might want to find a better neutral the image has a moderate color cast...

Had difficulties in finding good neutral. Stones seem best.
