It seems your translator needs a bit of a slang boost...

Under the weather does in fact mean feeling ill.  I have been fighting a tough nasal infection and I am feeling much better so expect some review today...

Hi Thomas,
Thanks for your concern. It has been a terrible week. We had 4 funerals and no wedding. It was quite traumatic.
Living in a village where a lot of older folk have retired to, it is inevitable that more people pass on but one does not get used to it.
But I am back on line and am busily working on my assignments.
