Greg,

Try this one in RGB and see if you can make the snow color look the same from front to back

Top picture has a pass after the BTN,a threshold of the RGB composite to add a little sparkle to the snow.There's a reddish  smear to the snow wall about 1:00 and just a hint of yellowto the entire wall,a reflection of something?

it does appear to be reflecting something...when we did this image in the conference call we were able to remove most of the color cast from the foreground...interesting....we must have hit it lucky...
