Hi Greg,
There is a  little scroll next to the hue clock. See screenshot. When I click on it it gets a little red tick. What does it do? I couldn't find an answer in the Help manual.

The Yellow Scroll Icon is used by CM when you are using it as a smart filter in PS.  CM does not know if it was called into action by you or by the opening of the smart filter layer in PS.

So...

You have to check the scroll when you use CM as a smart filter so that it remembers the curves you applied when you come back from PS.

So in other words it only works for PS and not PSE. I can therefore ignore it.

Thanks for the info Greg.

You can ignore it until you make the leap to PS....
I always said "why would I ever use the full install of PS?"...then...a funny thing happened...

I found myself wanting to go just a bit further....and while PSE does most of the work in my setting....I have PS for the really challenging images.
