Here are two versions. Both done in CM Lab mode but in many steps.
Both are a bit overdone,  one very much so. Only tried to get that Sun Moon colour.:)
Had some difficulty in getting correct colours. Colour information in picture not big and would have needed some extra ink like in CMYK. Is there a solution?

Actually #2 is close to the solution Mike will provide...The red in the fisherman's net and some green in the foliage along with the shadow and highlight control are the real goals.

This is one of the most subjective images in the class so have at it...Many solutions are possible....
