Here are my two results, LAB and RGB. Adjusted higlight, increased colours and applied a light S curve in LAB. In RGB highlight and medium S curve on RGB layer. No adjustment of neutral.

Hi Thomas,
I prefer the RGB version. The colours pop more and I find the paper the kids drew on is white while in the lab version it looks more greyish. I am not sure but I find that colourful pictures do better when using RGB rather than LAB or any of the other modes. But it is still early days and lots to learn. Good job on both images.

Thanks. Lab colours more saturated, I think, but do not know what I prefer.

Thomas overall both images are solid. The lab version might need a slight adjustment to the overall brightness. it appears a touch too bright. That might be why the colors are less saturated visually.
