Example 5 Dandelions.
In LAB mode I moved the Saturation slider to 1.77 and changed the Lightness threshold to input: 89;output: 100
I also tried HSB mode:
Saturation input: 89; output: 100
Hue input: 269; output: 275
Brightness input: 75; output: 82
In the end I prefered the LAB version, although with a lot more effort I should be able to get it right using HSB mode.

Wonderful color...
When there are no white highlights; you want to be sure you keep the highlight detail as much as possible. It can be difficult to do this when you want to brighten the overall image as you have done...
Save the attached ACV file to your desktop, load your posted image into CM and click the load button, select the ACV file from the desktop. Zoom into the flower as shown in the screen shot and click the compare button...it is the texture of the flower petals we want to preserve....
