Sometimes silence is a good thing but I just wanted to make sure everyone had all of their questions answered.  Week 1 can be pretty simple but I want to make sure all of you are happy with the information so far.

I will say that the images posted have been handled with creativity and additional technique that has been nothing short of wonderful.

Great work posted so far...

Hi Greg, Sorry for not having posted yet. I aquired a self-inflicted virus and had to reformat my hard-drive. Fortunatly everything was backed up and I am up and running again. I'm working hard on the assignments and will post ASAP.  :-

ouch..sorry to hear about your PC troubles.....
Take your time..there is really no deadline....Many people revisit the first week after we get to the third and fourth weeks....

Everything ok and back from trip. You have done a good work:) Looking foward to next weeks challenges. Have I missed any assignment for this week? Maybe I had wished some more posts/comments from other members in the class but hopefully that will come when challenges get harder.

PS Still do not understand how yguseva found/got that information in the sky of the "Rocket" picture. DS

Tguseva "probably" used a mask and added the sky as a gradient....
If I have guessed wrong Tguseva please correct me....

You are right. Color range, quick mask, gradient. I picked color, dark blue, played with opacity. it is winter on the picture. Cold, snow, cold blue sky :)
