Greg,
Try adjusting the Cyan curve in CMYK..you might have better luck
I get some trouble around the eyes with Blue but my attempt was from your last image not a fresh copy..It might have to do with your previous adjustments..but the cyan can be made more neutral...

Greg,when I put a wgCMY hue clock on the bluish tail the clockface registers white with everything at 0%.Hue clocks on other areas also read 0.Adjustments don't bring any change in readings.Do I have something toggled off?GregM

From your shot 3 above...
Shot1 = my hue clocks.
Shot2 = After correction shown.
Are we talking about the same parts of the image??
