These arejust a quick response to week1

I have just read more and realize there are ways to improve them still further - but I'll save that for week2

Sorry they are so late but as I said earlier I've been up to my neck in it

Mick,
Thanks for posting...Glad you could get here...I'll keep working with you as long as you need to..so don't worry that you are behind...

A couple of small things...in shot 1 everything is slightly cold...as I'm sure you have read on the other postings the neutral is very key to this particular image.

In shot2 you are slightly warm.  exact same problem. 

For both images you should try to open the shadows up a bit.  The settings for highlight seem to be ok so far..but the details in the feathers come out on the ducks back when you set the shadows better. 


I cannot tell for sure beyond that because of the image size. when you post you can use save for web and set the dimentions to be 1024 on either the horizontal or vertical then adjust the quality to meet the 200k size limit.
