Hmmm,I thought one of my steps put that strong blue back in the merry go round.Deep color gives substance.

I can tell you that the chipped bark in the background is not blue....

I had a tough time trying to figure out what I wanted it to look like. Here's a guess.

This one is kind of messed up isn't it...
I thought I'd throw a curve ball at the class...
the hand rail is fairly neutral if you are looking for a reference point...

Had to give it a try, Colour correction in RGB mode. Increased saturation and contrast in Lab mode. Final adjustment in PSE with soft light.
